Belvidere, IllinoisPaul W. Hermanson, 74, of Belvidere, IL died Wednesday morning, February 18, 2009 in Northwoods Care Center after a lingering illness. Paul was born June 15, 1934 in Capron, IL the son of Harry and Dora (Edson) Hermanson. Paul worked for Nash Brothers Construction Company in Chicago, IL prior to his retirement. He served in the US Army in Germany during peacetime.Paul enjoyed horses, cards and all sports. He was a good football and baseball player in his prime; and was a Cubs and Bears fan.He is survived by his son, David P. Conway of Branson, MO; three grandchildren; sister, Hazel (Bob) Paulson of Loves Park; brothers, Ronald (Yvonne) of Capron and David (Geraldine) of Roscoe, IL; numerous nieces and nephews.
