Paul J. Dahl, Jr., 71, passed away on October 5, 2019 in
Belvidere, IL, surrounded by his family. He was born on June 26, 1948 in Chicago,
IL to Paul Sr. and Mary (Kerrigan) Dahl. He married his loving wife of 49
years, Nancy Schindler on January 14, 1970 in Chicago, IL. He served in the
United States Army and then was employed by United Airlines for a number of
years. Paul loved Halloween, it was his favorite holiday! He loved shopping at
Walmart, going to the Steamplant restaurant, doing yard work, and gardening. But
most importantly, he loved spending time with his family and friends.

He will be dearly missed by his wife, Nancy; his children,
Kim Dahl, Paul (Kris) Dahl III, and Becky (David) Hendrickson; his brothers and
sisters, Earon, William, Chris Sepper, Karen Dahl, and Edward; his
grandchildren, Katie, Sarah, Jaymie, Aleecia, Madeline, Shaylee, Alexis,
Makenzie, Mya, and David, Jr.; his great-grandchildren, Aleeah, Ayden, and
Layla; his special friends, Joylnn and Tom, Carol and Herb, and Debbie and
Cliff; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother-in-law,
Bob Sepper; Kathy Kulasek; and Jerimie Beck.

A visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 9, 2019, at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave., Belvidere, IL, 61008. A rosary service will take place at 7:00 p.m. A funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, October 11, 2019 at St. James Catholic Church, 402 Church St., Belvidere, IL, 61008.
