Patricia M. "Patt" Snyder, 77, of Belvidere, IL, passed away peacefully, Friday, February 10, 2017 at Maple Crest Care Center. She was born May 23, 1939 in Chicago, IL, daughter of Kenneth and Margaret (Bain) McArdle. Patt worked as an insurance claims adjuster for many years. She was a faithful member of Saint Thomas of Villanova in Palatine, and also of Saint Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Casa Grande, AZ. Patt was an avid bridge player, and participated in multiple bridge groups. She enjoyed learning about World War II, jigsaw puzzles, and making afghans in her younger years.

Patt is loved and missed by her children, Robert (Marcy) Hirsh, Kevin (Pinar) Hirsh, Patti (John) Kameldula, and Sean Snyder; grandchildren, Kevin, Jr., Matthew and Hannah Hirsh, Kiera, Kenny, and Kevin Kamedula, and Mason Snyder; and great-granddaughter, Lily Hirsh. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral Mass will be held at 11:30 a.m., Monday, February 20, 2017 at Saint James Catholic Church, 402 Church Street, Belvidere, IL 61008 with Father Brian Geary officiating. A visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m., until 10:45 a.m., Monday, February 20, 2017 at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave, Belvidere, IL 61008.
