Patricia Lynn Walton, 55, of Rockford, IL, went to be with the Lord on February 23, 2025. Born in Belvidere, IL on August 25, 1969, she was the beloved daughter of Janet M. (Kirchner) and Walter J. Picco. Patricia was a proud graduate of Belvidere High School and carried the warmth of her hometown in her heart throughout her life.

On October 2, 1992, Patricia married the love of her life, Thomas Walton, together they shared 3 children and 32 years of marriage. Patricia's greatest joy was her family. As a devoted mother, she selflessly dedicated herself to supporting and caring for her children. Her presence was a steady source of strength, and support that extended far beyond the everyday needs of her children.

In addition to her family, Patricia found solace in the simple pleasures of life. She had a love for crafting  and she found peace in tending to her flowers. Patricia was talented in baking and enjoyed making Christmas cookies. Those who knew her will remember her as a kind, loving, and thoughtful soul who took joy in the small, meaningful moments of life. Patricia's legacy of selflessness and generosity will not be forgotten.

Patricia's memory will live on through her husband, children, and all who were fortunate to know her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and devotion.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas Walton; their children, Justin Walton, Jessica Walton, and Julia (Sam Wood) Walton; Patricia was also a proud grandmother to be. She is also survived by her siblings, Wally (Kris) Picco, Ann (Mike) Anderson, Carol Woolman, John Picco, Mary (Tim) Gille, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family whom she loved dearly.

Patricia is welcomed into heaven by her parents, Janet and Walter Picco; special aunt, Gloria Kirchner; numerous uncles, brother-in-law, Jerry Walton, as well as maternal and paternal grandparents.

Patricia's visitation will be Saturday, March 1st between the hours of 4-6pm at Anderson Funeral Home. A second visitation will be Sunday, March 2nd at 1pm until the time of service at 2pm at Anderson Funeral Home. Located at 218 W. Hurlbut Ave. Belvidere, IL 61008.
