Patricia Ann Stewart, 81, of Vincennes, Ind., formerly of Belvidere, Ill., died Wednesday Oct. 10, 2012, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes after a lingering illness. Patricia was born March 9, 1931, in Eau Claire, Wisc. She graduated from Belvidere High School in 1950 and Rockford Memorial Hospital's School of Nursing in 1953. Patricia's nursing career included 30 years of care with Highland Hospital in Belvidere and seven years of care with Vencor Hospital in Sycamore. In 1995, Patricia changed careers worked at Belvidere Bank in the bookkeeping department before retiring in 2002. Patricia was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and the Northern Illinois L.P.N. Association.Survivors include daughter-in-law Beverly Brown, of Vincennes; twin granddaughters Abbey (Michael) Doyle of Anderson, Ind., and Sarah (Chris) Spurgeon of Evansville, Ind.; great-grandson Miles Jeffrey Doyle, of Anderson; step-brother Chester (Alvira) Chambers of Tomah, Wis.; and several nieces and nephews. Patricia is predeceased by her son Jeffrey Brown, mother Florence Rhyme, step-father Floyd Chambers and sister Lois Ross.She was a loving grandmother and enjoyed watching her great-grandson grow.
