Patricia Jean Sprecher, 85, of Cherry Valley, IL, passed away February 21, 2024. She was born on September 20, 1938 in Fort Dodge, Iowa. The daughter of Maureen (Baker) and Albert Porter.

She graduated from Fort Dodge High School and went on to continue her education at Harper College where she received her associates degree. Patricia was a paralegal for many years at Schuleter and Ecklund law services, specializing in estate and probate law.

On December 6, 1958 she married Lloyd Sprecher. They shared 2 children and 65 years of marriage. She was a deeply devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.

Patricia was a long time member of Heartland Community Church and served in various ministries there. She was a member of the Holy Family Bridge Club, and also volunteered at OSF St. Anthony's to assist with clerical work.

Patricia was a talented singer, a great cook, and an avid reader. She enjoyed gardening and canning, as well as supported her grandchildren at their bowling tournaments and baseball games. She will be missed by many.

She is survived by her husband, Lloyd Sprecher; children, Lee (Christine) Sprecher, Lisa Sprecher; grandchildren, Garrett, Logan, Brett, and Lauren Sprecher; siblings, Bud (Joan) Wiuff and Helen (Bernard) Rodee. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members whom she loved dearly.

She is predeceased by her parents and sisters, Marge Pelley and Elaine Moss.

Patricia's memorial service will be Saturday, March 2, 2024 at 11am at Anderson Funeral Home. Located at 218 W. Hurlbut Ave. Belvidere, IL 61008.
