Patricia Ann Emerson, 83, of Belvidere, Illinois, passed away on October 23, 2023. Patricia was born on November 27, 1939 to Howard Lee Emerson and Cloie Ann Burge Emerson in Sunnyside, Washington. She later moved to and attended high school in Fairbanks, Alaska. Patricia worked for Honeywell in Freeport, Illinois for 25 years until her retirement in 1996. In retirement, she had a passion for landscaping. She spent many years creating beautiful designs for family and commercial landscapes.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Cloie Emerson; son, Frank Murrell; brothers, Charles Emerson and Howard Emerson Jr.; and granddaughter, Jami Lei Murray. She is survived by her sister, Doris Emerson Hadley (Merle); children, Marsha Murrell Murray (Jeff) of Brodhead, WI, Debra Murrell DesJardins of Wesley Chapel, FL, Gary Murrell (Sharon) of Barrington, IL; grandchildren, Brittni Murray Ackley (Nick), Kyle Murray (Melissa), Dylan DesJardins, Desiree Desjardins and Sydney Desjardins; and great-grandchildren, Alexis Miller, Kaylee Miller, Audrey Ackley, Addison Murray and Corbin Murray. She will be missed.

Remembrance service/visitation will be held at Anderson Funeral & Cremation Services, 218 W. Hurlbut Avenue, Belvidere, IL 61008 on November 6th, 2023, 10am to 12pm. Graveside service will follow at Lena cemetery, 312 E Provost St, Lena, IL 61048 on Nov 6th at 1:30pm.
