Pamala R. Paun, 55, of Caledonia, IL passed away Monday, February 26,2018 in OSF Saint Anthony Hospital.  Pam was born November 21, 1962 in Rochester, MN the daughter of Jim and Kay (Huntoon) Borgen. She married the love of her life Michael Paun on October 12, 1996. Pam earned a scholarship and would graduate from OSF Saint Anthony's nursing school. Pamala would go on to work for OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center starting in Pediatrics Department followed by Day Care Surgery later in her career. Pam held a special place in her heart for the patients she cared for and the great staff members she worked with. Pam was recently recognized for 30 years of service at OSF Saint Anthony.

Pam was passionate about her family, whether it was finding a special gift for someone, preparing a special dish or desert for a family member, going to the ballpark to watch her sons play baseball or just shopping with her sisters. Most importantly she was a loving wife, mother, sister, daughter, friend and child of God.

Pam is loved and will be missed by her husband, Mike; sons Matthew and Nicholas; parents, Jim and Kay; sisters, Patty (Roger) Conkling, Lisa Borgen, Vickie (Jeff) Michael; father-in-law, Frank Paun as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her grandparents and mother-in-law Virginia Paun.

A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Saturday March 10, 2018 Immanuel Lutheran Church, 1045 Belvidere Rd, Belvidere, IL 61008 with Rev. Allan Buss officiating. A visitation will be held from 9:00 am till 11:45 prior to service. Burial in Scandinavian Cemetery. Matthew and Nicks education was important to Pam so the family request memorials to the family to establish a college fund for the boys.
