Belvidere, ILOtis P. Hatcher, 75 of Belvidere, IL died Monday night, January 3, 2011 in Beloit Memorial Hospital after a sudden illness. Otis was born April 23, 1935 in Walland, Tennessee, the son of Joseph and Mary Helen (Russell) Hatcher. Prior to his retirement he worked as a supervisor for Atwood Vacuum in Rockford. Otis was a member of the Moose Lodge of Belvidere. He enjoyed gardening and woodworking and was an avid Chicago Bear's fan.He is loved and will be missed by his children, Peggy Douthat of Belvidere, Mark (Vicki) Hatcher of Rockford, Pamela (Dale) Dyer of Theresa, WI; grandchildren, Sabrina (Robert) Weimerskirk, Robert (Ashley) Dyer, Dillon, Elisa; great grandchildren, Alana, Hiedi, Andrew, Nathan and one on the way; special friend, Florence Altman of Belvidere. Otis is predeceased by his parents, brothers and sisters; granddaughter, Tabitha Dyer.
