Oneda B. Tindle, 88, of Belvidere, IL passed away peacefully, Thursday morning, July 7, 2022, in Northwoods Care Center. Oneda was born October 13, 1933, in Mount Vernon, IL the daughter of Clifford and Agnes (Rote) Southerd. She married Donald Tindle on September 5, 1954, in Mount Vernon. Over the years, Oneda worked in various capacities from nurse's aide to school cafeteria cook; but most rewarding position was that of raising and caring for her family. She was a loving wife and devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She made her spiritual home at Cathedral Baptist Church, where she was a member of the choir. Oneda will be remembered for her artistic ability.She was an excellent seamstress, enjoyed ceramics and anything to do with art crafts.

Oneda is loved and will be missed by her children, Barb Wolcott, Kenny (Myria) Tindle, Janet (Mike Cartwright) Tindle, Jim (Becky) Tindle; daughter in-law, Darlene Tindle; grandchildren, Kaitlin, Tommy, Heather, Hailey, Holly, Kristen, Brittany, Grace, Staci, Tony (Shaunte), Ashley, Tracy, Katlin, Karianne, Jamie; numerous great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren; brother, Dale Southerd; nieces and nephews.Oneda is preceded in death by her husband, Donald; daughter, Donna; son, David; grandsons, Dustin, and Chris; siblings, Bob-her twin brother, Edward, Harlen, Charles, Eleanor, Fern, Mary, Dora, Gale.

Oneda's visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday, July 11, 2022, in Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 W. Hurlbut Avenue, Belvidere, IL.Her funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 12, 2022, at the funeral home with Rev. Jeremiah Griffin officiating.Burial in Highland Garden of Memories.
