Norma L.S. Helper, 96 of Woodstock, IL. died Sunday, October 9, 2011 at the Cross Roads Care Center, Woodstock, IL. She was born in Elgin, Illinois on May 4, 1915 the daughter of Herman and Nellie (Peglow) Helper. Norma was an employee of the Elgin National Watch Company. She was a 1950 graduate of St. Anthony Hospital School of Nursing and worked as a Public Health Nurse at the Rockford T.B. Sanatorium and School Nurse for the Rockford Public Schools. Norma was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church of Woodstock, IL She is survived by her sister, Ellen Helper.Norma is predeceased by her parents; sister Eunice M. Helper and infant brother.
