Norma J. Arthur age 73 of Belvidere was called home to the Lord November 22, 2006 from OSF St. Anthony Medical Center. Norma was born April 12, 1933 the daughter of Henry Milo and Gladys (Hipps) Abbott. She later married the love of her life Lowell Thomas Arthur in Sycamore Illinois. Norma worked countless hours in the home and also bringing up the family. Norma attended Bible Baptist Church in Belvidere. She also enjoyed reading and especially loved to collect antiques. She is survived by her loving children; Henry (Debra) Arthur, Bruce (Sue) Arthur, LTC Linda (Engin) Sahin, and Sandra Scherer; cherished grandchildren; Allen and Kayla Arthur, Joshua Arthur, Tori Scherer, Jordin Scherer, and Devin Scherer, and her special sister Peggy Harrelson. Norma was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sister Marilyn Smith.
