Norby M. Williamson, 81, of Belvidere, IL, died April 17, 2024, in Rockford, IL. He was born April 7, 1943, in Columbus, Mississippi, son to Norby and Geraldine (Cook) Williamson. He attended college and married his sweetheart, Diane Totz on June 14, 1969, at First Presbyterian Church in Belvidere. Norby worked for Sundstrand as a Machine Tool Assembler. He was a member of the VFW, American Legion, and First Presbyterian Church. Norby enjoyed fishing and bowling. Norby and Diane enjoyed their pinnacle club and vacationing on Leech Lake in Minnesota. Norby was also a big fan of new technology. He will be greatly missed.

Norby is loved and missed by his wife, Diane; son, Jason Williamson; sister, Jerry Herrington and nephew, Karl Michael Friday; brother, Mike (Jo)  L. Williamson and nephews, Josh, Jordan and Jonathon; brother-in-law, Craig (Gloria) Totz, nephew, Mark Totz, niece, Michele Totz; great-niece, Sophia Frickman and many cousins and their families.

Norby is preceded by his parents, Norby and Geraldine.

A visitation will be at 11 a.m. until the time of Norby's funeral at 12 p.m. Friday, April 26, 2024, at First Presbyterian Church, 221 N Main St, Belvidere, IL 61008. Rev.
