Belvidere, IllinoisNicole Marie Horkheimer, 32, of Belvidere, IL died Monday evening, October 17, 2011 in the University of Illinois Chicago Hospital after a very courageous life long battle with health. Nicole was born August 29, 1979 in Rockford, Il the daughter of William J. and Sharon K. (Stankus) Horkheimer. Nicole graduated from Belvidere High School and attended Rock Valley College. Nicole was very artistic and loved animals. Nicole was a loving free spirit who brought a lot of happiness to the people in her life. Nicole will be ever joyfully remembered.Nicole is loved and will be missed by her parents, Bill and Sharon; sister, Cheryl Horkheimer of Rockford; brothers William Jr. (Khristy) of Loves Park, Brian L. Horkheimer of Rockford; nephew and niece, Gavan and Haylee Horkheimer.She is predeceased by her grandparents.
