Nicholas E. Bellich, 94, of Belvidere, IL passed away Thursday, August 16, 2018. Nicholas was born on February 4, 1924 in Savanna, IL the son of Stephen and Mary (Notz) Bellich. Nicholas was a graduate from Savanna High School and went on to become an apprentice at Ingersoll Milling and Manufacturing and remained a loyal employee as a Machine Assembler at Ingersoll for 41 years. As an Army veteran of WWII, Nicholas enjoyed being a part of the local VFW in Belvidere. He also enjoyed tuning up cars for friends and ice fishing with his friends and family come winter.

Nicholas is loved and will be missed by his loving children, Mark (Debbie) and Daniel (Cathy) Bellich; sibling, Thom Bellich; grandchildren, Libby Bainter, Ben (Shannon) Bellich, and Tim Bellich; and great-grandchildren, Ryane Bainter, Dillan and Nolan Adamovich; He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Myrtle; and siblings, Marie, Emil, Lorraine, Albert "Bud," and Paul Bellich.
