Capron, IllinoisNeva W. Colver, 93 of Capron, IL died Sunday evening, December 7, 2008 in her home surrounded by her loving family. Neva was born December 12, 1914 in Capron, the daughter of Elon and Lillian (Schafer) Wesson. She married Charles Colver on August 25, 1935 in Belvidere. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a former member of the Russellville Women's Club and 72 year member of the Grange. She joined the Bonus Grange in 1936 and is a current member of the Flora Grange; she supported the Boone County Fair by working the grange food stand for over 50 years.Survivors include her husband, Charles; sons, Stanley (Norma) Colver and Larry (Emalee) Colver both of Capron; grandchildren, Shelley (Brad) Johnson, Robert Colver, James (Tammy) Colver, Todd (Kim) Hegge, Trea (Andy) Pearson; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Marjorie (Lisle) Wire of Rockford; brother, Don Wesson of Cherry Valley; sisters-in-law, Hazel Wesson, Edna Wesson both of Rockford, Alice Colver of Michigan; several nieces and nephews. Neva is predeceased by her parents and brothers Eugene and Harris Wesson.

A memorial will be established and can be given in care of the family.
