Nessie McChristie, 88, of Belvidere, died Saturday, November 24, 2007 in Swedish-American Hospital. Born June 3, 1919 in Cardenden, Scotland. She married George McChristie. He died in 1985. She is survived by her three children, Marge Osborn, Belvidere; David (Ginny) McChristie, Rockton, Ill.; and Barbara (Wayne) Brink, Mission Viejo, Cal.; nine grandchildren, Michelle Sumner, Jill Hargraves, Dan Osborn, David McChristie, Mike McChristie, Jen McChristie, Matt Brink, Dan Brink and Josh Brink; thirteen great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her grandson, Tim Osborn. A special thanks is extended to all of the staff at Provena St. Anne Center.
