Nasima "Cheema" Sheriff, 80, of Rockford, IL, passed away September 25, 2015 in Northwoods Care Center in Belvidere, IL. Nasima was born September 26, 1934 in Sialkot, Pakistan. She married Shibli Mohammed Sheriff. Nasima was a homemaker. She enjoyed reading and loved learning. Nasima was proud to take the United States Citizenship test and became an American citizen in 2005.

Nasima is loved and will be missed by her son, Asif Sheriff and his partner Donna Malert who was like a daughter to her; loving children of her husband, Zahira, Rafiq, Wahid, Nazli, Nasreen; brother, Masud; nieces and nephews, NoNo, Tummy, Chand, Muschi, Sissa , Minoo, Adnan, Aliya, Willy, Baba, Shireen, Ruby, Asad, Miral, Yasmin, Mark; good friends, Ethylene, Diane, Gene, Jaime, wife, Albina, Sarah and her brothers. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Shibli, siblings, Zarina, Aslam, Arshad, Sakina, Pah.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, September 27, 2015 at Highland Garden of Memories, 7600 Route 76, Belvidere, IL 61008. Arrangements by Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services.
