Nancy Ann Lee, 70, of Belvidere, IL died January 30, 2022, in Rockford, IL. She was born June 18, 1951, in Elmhurst, IL, daughter to Emory and Alma (Hartje) Lee and graduated from Belvidere High School, class of 1969. She was employed for 45 years at Arnold Magnetic Engineering and retired in 2015.

Nancy's biggest joy was her grandkids, living her life every day for them. She would visit, take care of them, and take them places often. She would spend every moment with them if she could. And when she was not with them, they were never far from her thoughts. She loved to collect cookbooks and was an avid garage sale shopper always keeping an eye out for things her family and friends needed for their own homes. She also enjoyed knitting and crocheting.

She is loved and will be missed by her daughters, Kathy Lee and Kary Lee; grandchildren, Nathan, Jason, Jacob, Logan and Kayla Gagliani; brother, Larry (Pam) Lee; sisters, Cheryl (late Woody) Walker and Sally (Dave) Cline; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Nancy is preceded in death by her parents; and brother-in-law, Earl Walker.

A visitation will be from 2 to 2:45 p.m., Monday, February 7, 2022, at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave., Belvidere, IL 61008. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 3 p.m. Patrick Anderson will officiate. The family would like everyone to wear purple, in honor of her favorite color.
