Nancy Bruni, 78, of Capron, IL, was reborn into eternal life on August 9, 2025. She was born on June 2, 1947, in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Randy (Anderson) and George Frank Demore.

Nancy was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her life was rooted in faith, and she was a longtime member of Capron Lutheran Church, where she found strength and community.

A 1965 graduate of Palatine Township High School, Nancy embodied a strong work ethic throughout her life. She held various jobs to support her family, most recently at the Post Office. She married Richard T. Bruni on February 14, 1976.

Nancy had a deep love for animals—especially penguins, which became a cherished theme in her personal collection. She also enjoyed crossword puzzles and lovingly cared for her pets over the years. She was a charitable and caring person who donated regularly to organizations that were important to her, supporting veterans, children, and animals.

She will be remembered for her unwavering faith, resilience, and the love she gave so freely to those around her.

She is survived by her children, Kimberly Delcuore, Raymond Kick, and Kenneth Kick, son-in-law, Denis Kibby, grandchildren, Andrew (Jessica) Kick, Anastasia (Kyle) Briney, Allison Kick, Alexander (Molly) Kick, Nicholas Kibby, Johnathan Kibby, Richard Kick, Kenny Kick, great grandchildren, Emma Kick, Thomas Kick, Theodore Miller, and James Briney; sister, Karen Fritz, as well as numerous extended family members and close friends she loved dearly.

Nancy is welcomed into heaven by her husband Richard T. Bruni and Brother Frank George Demore.

Her visitation will be Monday, August 25th between the hours of 10-12pm at Capron Lutheran Church. Funeral Service to follow at 12. Burial will be at Long Prairie Capron cemetery.
