Nancy L. Brown, age 55, of Belvidere, Illinois died Thursday morning, February 2, 2006 in OSF St. Anthony Medical Center after a lengthy illness. Nancy was born December 9, 1950 in Dixon, Illinois the daughter of Noble and Merilee (Meyers) King. She enjoyed being a grandmother and caring for her family. Nancy also loved to cook, read, play Scrabble and to spend time with family and friends. She is survived by her father, Noble King; son, Joel (Becky Tobin) Brown of Belvidere; daughter, Merilee Brown of Rockford; grandchildren, Zachary Brown, Jaymee Vronch and Chelsea Vronch; sister Peggy King of Peoria, Il; brothers, Gerry (Carrie) King of Dixon, IL and Jack (Debbie) King of Amboy, IL; nieces and nephews. Nancy is predeceased by her mother, Merilee and former husband Richard.

In lieu of flowers a memorial will be established in Nancy's name.
