Nancy Ann Blankenship, 66 of Belvidere departed this world Tuesday, March 20, 2007 after a sudden illness. She was born July 8, 1940 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Virginia Schroeder. She married Harl Blankenship February 9, 1961. She enjoyed life, spending time with her husband. She adored her sons and spoiled her grandchildren. She loved collecting dolls, Elvis memorabilia and crocheting. Nancy had a heart of gold and was loved by all that knew her. She is survived by her husband, Harl Blankenship of Belvidere; sons, Danny (Tammy) Blankenship of Belvidere, Johnny (Tammy) Blankenship of Florida; five grandchildren, Alexandra, Travis, Field, Logan, Olivia; sister, Virginia (Vince) Tondryk; brother, Ray Schroeder.

Memorials can be given in care of the family.
