Nadine Nola Steinke lost her battle with cancer on May 4, 2026. She courageously fought three different types of cancer and won but was unable to overcome the fourth. She put up a heck of a fight.

Nadine was born on October 14, 1960, to Evelyn and Noel Ogden. She married the love of her life, Dale Steinke, on Valentine’s Day in 2000 in Belvidere, Illinois. Together, they built a life rooted in love and family.

Nadine was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She found joy in thrift shopping, attending auctions, and, as those who knew her best would say, she simply loved to shop and spend money. Nadine had a personality that was truly unforgettable, she was sweet, stubborn, sassy, loving, and kind, all wrapped into one.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Dale Steinke; her children, Christopher Ogden and Josh (Rhonda) Kaske; her cherished grandchildren, Corey Gunn and Tyler Davenport; her siblings, Teresa (Mark) Borcoman, Nathan (Karol) Ogden, Curtis (Liz) Ogden, Martha Ogden, Nole Dayton Ogden, JR (April) Ogden, David (Gaby) Ogden.

She was preceded in death by her father and her grandmother, Gladys Swaine, and beloved pup Macgyver.

A memorial visitation for Nadine will be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., with a memorial service to follow at 11:00 a.m. at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, located at 218 West Hurlbut Ave., Belvidere, Illinois 61008.
