Mildred L. Blee 87, of Belvidere, Illinois passed away October 10, 2024 at home with her children by her side.
She was born November 19, 1936. The daughter of James and Viola Hess.  She was a strong, independent woman who instilled this trait in her children.
She married James F. Blee, February 13, 1965. They were married 31 years. They had three children.
She is survived by her children, Paul (Paula), John, and Nancy (Tyler) Towns.  Sisters, Sally Hiesler and Dorthy (Don) Grimes.
Predeceased by her husband, James parents, daughter-in-law, Dee Ann, Brother, Earl, sister-in-law's Donna and Marlene, and Brother-in-law Jack Heisler.
Per her wishes, cremation and burial will be private.
