Miguel Lopez, 57, of Belvidere, IL passed away unexpectedly, Sunday, April 10, 2022. Miguel was born October 25, 1964, in Yuriria, GTO, Mexico the son of Juventino and Maria Trinidad Lopez. He married Maria Guadalupe Gomez on January 7, 2004, in their hometown of Yuriria. Miguel was a hard worker and dedicated to his employer at Unilock, where he proudly operated a machine. Miguel was a loving husband, father, and brother, who loved spending time with his family.

Miguel is loved and will be missed by his wife, Maria; children, Michelle Lopez, and Emanuel Lopez; siblings, Graciela Lopez, Maria Lopez, Rafael Lopez, Jose Lopez, and Araceli Calderon; many nieces and nephews.

Miguel is preceded in death by his father, Juventino.

Funeral Mass for Miguel will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 22, 2022, at St. James Catholic Church, 402 Church Street, Belvidere, Il with Rev. William Schuessler celebrating. The visitation for Miguel will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, April 21, 2022, at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 W. Hurlbut Avenue, Belvidere, IL. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery. Memorials can be given in care of the family.
