Michael S. Rauner, 64, of Machesney Park, IL passed away Saturday, December 12, 2020 at The UW Hospital in Madison WI. Michael was born on November 4, 1956 in Nyack, New York, the son of John and Joyce (Peters) Rauner. Michael was a graduate of Central Bible College and married the love of his life Lee Uyeyama on December 31, 1977 in New York. Michael was passionate about his faith in our Lord and Savior and could be found many Sundays preaching at local nursing homes in the community. Michael was an avid Steelers fan but most importantly loved spending time with his family. He also enjoyed his weekly outings with grandsons, spending quality time with them. Michael recently, was thankful for family and friends who walked alongside when he received a successful kidney transplant in July. Michael will be missed by all.

Michael is love by his wife, Lee; son, Jeremiah and wife Jamie Rauner and their children, Maddox, Logan, Kadin, Jeremiah Jr., daughter-in-law, Anna Rauner; siblings, Cheryl (Mike) Bunney, Lance (Mary Lou) Rauner, Steven (Lucy) LaFrancois as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents, son, Daniel Rauner; siblings, Billy LaFrancois, Gary LaFrancois, Richard LaFrancois and Daniel Rauner.

The funeral services will be 12:00 p.m., Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Life Church, 5910 Elevator Road, Roscoe, IL 61073 with Rev. Ken Hanson.
