Belvidere, IllinoisMichael Robert Morgan, 56, of Belvidere, IL died Sunday morning, July 29, 2012 in OSF St. Anthony Medical Center. Michael was born July 5, 1956 in Madison, WI the son of Thomas R. and Donna J. (Mikkelson) Morgan. Mike was an executive with Morgan Building Maintenance of Belvidere. He attended Belvidere High School and was a Chicago Bear's fan as well as being a strong republican. Mike will be remembered for his sense of humor, love for animals and his dedicated service, to our country, as a Marine. Mike was a very loving person who was tough but sensitive to the passions of others. He loved his family who will miss him dearly. Mike was a veteran of the US Marine Corp, he served in Japan and the Philippines.Mike was the loving son of Thomas and Donna of Belvidere; devoted brother of Jay (Mary) Haskell of Rockford, Teresa (Thomas) Griffith of Cherry Valley, Daniel (Joy) Morgan of Roscoe, IL; cherished nephew of Robert J. (Susan) Morgan of Boulder, CO, Alice Scott of Phoenix, AZ; proud uncle of Daniel, RaeAnne, Abby, Sarah, Colin, Tori and Ben; fond cousin of many.

In lieu of flowers a memorial will be established in care of Michael's family.
