Michael J. Wolf, 64, of Belvidere, IL passed away peacefully, Wednesday March 17, 2021 after a short illness. Mike was born September 29, 1956 in Belvidere, IL the son of William A. and Sara (Tyson) Wolf. Mike graduated from Belvidere High School and attended University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. It was there at freshman orientation that he met and fell in love with Joyce Manning. After graduation Mike returned to Belvidere where he continued in his career at Wolf Chevrolet retiring in 2013. Mike and Joyce were married on August 26, 1978 in Rochelle. Mike was connected to his community with his civic involvement with the I.O.U. club and Pheasants Forever. When not at the dealership, Mike enjoyed all things outdoors. He was an outdoorsman at heart; enjoying each opportunity to hunt, fish or play a round of golf. He was an avid sports fan following all the Chicago teams, Bears, Cubs, Blackhawks, Bulls and even the Illinois Illini.

Mike is loved and will be missed by his wife, Joyce; children, Mitchell J. Wolf of Belvidere, Matthew J. (Jody) Wolf of Rockford, Mary A. Wolf of Chicago; grandson, Brayden Petrie; siblings, John (Candy) Wolf of Belvidere, Callie (Jim) Marrs of Garden Prairie, Christopher, (Norm White) of Massachusetts; Uncle and Aunt, Jack and Peggy Wolf; many nieces and nephews. Mike is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Thomas Wolf, and nephew, David Wolf.

The visitation of Mike will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 W. Hurlbut Avenue, Belvidere, IL. The funeral services will be private and livestreamed at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at www.Andersonfcs.com. Burial of Mike's cremated body will be at Belvidere Cemetery.
