Michael J. McCormick Jr., 59, of Belvidere, IL., passed away on April 19, 2019 in Belvidere, IL. He was born to Michael and Lois (Foss) McCormick on May 15, 1959 in Sterling, IL. Michael married the love of his life, Anna Lee Roberts, on September 8, 1984 in Elgin, IL.

Michael
enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was an avid sports fan and
would rotate through each season rooting for his favorite teams. If it was
winter, he'd be watching the Chicago Bears and in summer it would be the
Chicago White Sox.

Michael is
survived by his wife, Anna; children, Cheryle Kelley and Michael McCormick III;
siblings, Christine, Patricia, and Stephen; and grandchildren Austin and
Samantha Adams.

He is preceded in
death by his daughter, Samantha Lee McCormick; parents, Michael and Lois; and
sister, Cheryle.

A visitation will take place from 1:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. on Friday, April 26, 2019 at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave, Belvidere, IL 61008. A memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 26, 2019, at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services. Leslie Petty to officiate.
