Caledonia, ILMichael A. Lindberg, 47, of Caledonia, IL joined his Lord and Savior after a tragic accident, Monday, March 10, 2008. Michael was born June 7, 1960, in Belvidere, IL, the son of Donald A. and Karen (Nelson) Lindberg. Michael graduated from North Boone High School and Rockford College. He met his wife, Cheryl Johnston, while attending Rockford College; they were married August 21, 1982 in Rockford. Mike farmed with his family and could fix anything; he was a Pioneer Seed dealer and helped his neighbors and served his community. Mike was a member of Poplar Grove United Methodist Church, was a past president and 20 year member of the Poplar Grove Lions Club, past president and member of the Conservation District and past president and current member of North Boone Community Unit School District 200.Survivors include his wife, Cheryl; parents, Don and Karen; children, Michelle (Brent Becker), Ryan, Jason and Jacob, all of Caledonia; brother, Jeff of Caledonia; sister, Kathy Burman of Chicago; niece, Madison Burman; "brother", Doug Ludemann; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Michael is predeceased by his grandparents.

A memorial will be established in Michael's name and can be given in care of his family.
