Belvidere, ILMichael W. Gosch, 62, of Belvidere, IL died peacefully, Saturday morning, May 12, 2012 in his home after a battle with leukemia. Mike was born March 16, 1950 in Davenport, IA the son of William and Arlyss (Quinn) Gosch. He married Patricia (Woosley) Lewis on August 25, 2001 at Klehm Arboretum, in Rockford, IL. Mike was a manager for Jewel Food Stores prior to his retirement. He was a member of the Flora Grange, Bel-Mar Country Club and loved to golf, woodwork and was a fan of NASCAR as well as any sport; but most importantly, Mike became a believer in the Lord Jesus and was a member of Faith Baptist Church.Michael is loved and will be missed by his wife, Patricia; mother Arlyss of Davenport; children Daniel (Renee) Gosch of Davis Junction, IL, Jason Gosch of Rockford, Travis Lewis of Converse, IN, Matthew Lewis of Denver, CO, Angela Lewis of Rockford; grandchildren Karissia, Xavier, Jimmy, Jada, Kaiden; brother Doug Gosch of Davenport and sister Karen (Kenny) Stinocher of Davenport; nieces and nephews.Michael is predeceased by his father William and sister Connie.

Memorials can be given in care of the family for Faith Baptist Church or Heartland Hospice in Michael's name.
