Maynard Kincaide, 77, of Rockford, IL, passed away peacefully, February 2, 2017 at OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center. Born January 26, 1940 in Belvidere, IL, the son of Perry and Effie (Hettrick) Kincaide. Maynard married the love of his life, Catherine Blackwell on September 23, 1958 in Rockford. He was employed as an assembler at Chrysler Corporation for 33 years. Maynard was a member of the Northern IL Steam power Club. He had a passion for antique tractors, and woodworking. He will truly be missed.

Maynard is loved and missed by his loving wife, Catherine; children, Maynard (Kelly) Kincaide, Jr., Michael (Mellione) Kincaide, Laurie (Peter) Thompson, Mark (Tammy) Kincaide, Matthew (Samantha Cooper) Kincaide; grandchildren, Meghann Morrison, Lucas (Lori Kauffman) Kincaide, Becky (Norton) Dabelmont, Emily Kincaide, Ashley (Dennis Maloney) Kincaide, Joshua (Julie) Kincaide, Jon (Jackie Keith) Kincaide, Shelby Kincaide, Miya Vanderpool and Cooper Kincaide; great-grandchildren, Janylah, Ni'caela, Aiden, Austin, Logan, Nora, and Jackson; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and 7 brothers and sisters.

A celebration of life will take place from 5-7 p.m., Monday, February 6, 2017 at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave, Belvidere, IL 61008. Cremation rites have been accorded.
