Obituary

Maxine Reimer, 87, of Capron, Illinois, died peacefully on November 30, 2018 at Mercy Health in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. Born on October 18, 1931, the daughter of Dever and Fern (Giles) Pace in Beloit, Wisconsin. She married the love of her life, Thomas Reimer on April 11, 1952 in Belvidere, Illinois. She  graduated high school in  Clinton, Wisconsin and worked for a brief time at Borg making automobile clocks until she became a farmer's wife where she worked on the farm for many years.

Maxine played the organ, and loved to play bingo. She loved taking care of her beloved husband of 66 years and adored spending time with her grandchildren and great- grandchildren.

She is loved and missed by her husband, Thomas; daughters and sons, Jane (Leon) Leach, Allen (Dawn) Reimer, Arnold Reimer, Eileen (Don) Travis and Andrew Reimer; grandchildren, Leroy, Virginia, Valerie, Brad, Jayna, Josh, Ashley and Kaitlin; brother, Bill Pace; six great –grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Maxine is preceded in death by her parents; and brother Bob.

A funeral service will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, December 12, 2018, at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave., in Belvidere. Rev. Scott Nellis will officiate.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m, until the time of service, Wednesday, December 12, 2018.

Burial will be at Belvidere Cemetery.
