Belvidere, IllinoisMatthew J. Revolinski, 52, of Belvidere, IL died peacefully Wednesday evening, July 13, 2011 in SwedishAmerican Hospital from complications due to brain tumor surgery. Matthew was born October 6, 1958 in Belvidere, IL the son of David and Carol L. (Walker) Revolinski. He married Peggy L. Carlton on May 14, 1983 in Belvidere, IL and was a graduate of Belvidere High School in 1976. Matthew worked with his father from the time he was in seventh grade at Revolinski Automotive in Belvidere. Matthew was a car enthusiast and a member of the "Tin Butchers" car club. He took great pride in his street rod and was a fan of NASCAR and Drag Racing. Matthew loved and cherished his family and they loved and cherished him. He will continue to be loved by his wife, Peggy; parents, David and Carol; children, Chad and Danielle; sisters, Margaret (Lance) Hammond of Rockford, Melissa (Tim) Nolan of Rockford; brother, Mark (Monica) Revolinski of Garden Prairie; mother in-law, Luanne Carlton of Belvidere; brother in-law, Teddy (Aidee) Carlton of Belvidere; sister in-law, Alice (Calvin) Gapinski of Grayslake, IL; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins; and his faithful companion "Gus".Matthew is predeceased by his father in-law, Ronald Carlton; and his paternal and maternal grandparents.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be given in care of the family.
