Matthew Jay Pauley, 41, of Galveston, IN, formerly of Belvidere, died Wednesday, October 17, 2012 in St. Joseph Hospital, Kokomo, IN after a sudden illness. Born November 22, 1970 in Belvidere, son of Ralph Pauley and Judy (Brown) Pauley. Served in the US Navy aboard the USS Eisenhower during Desert Storm. Worked for Chrysler for 15 years before starting his own construction business. Member of the UAW and the American Legion. Above all he enjoyed spending time with his daughter.Survivors include his daughter Hayley Renee Pauley of Galveston, IN; fiancé Angie Ebert of Galveston, IN; father Ralph (Janette) Pauley of Hudson, FL; brother David Pauley of Rockford, step-daughters Ashley and Kaitlyn Ebert;step-brothers Jason and Logan Swart of WI; and nephews Nick and Lucas Pauley. Predeceased by his mother Judy D. Pauley.
