Mary Louise White, 72, of Belvidere, died Tuesday, July 26, 2011 in OSF St. Anthony Medical Center. Born March 27, 1939 in St. Charles, daughter of Lowell Roscoe and Thelma (Bradley) Overstreet, Sr. Married Joseph L. White, Jr. on August 17, 1957 in St. Charles. Mary served on the Spring Township Board for many years, volunteered with the Keenage Center, was the superintendent for the 4-H Boone County Cat Show, she had a great sense of humor, was an animal lover and avid reader. The most important thing to her was taking care of her family and friends. She goes to meet one of her best friends Barbara Kidd and her cat Rusty in eternity.Survivors include her loving husband Joseph, daughter Mary Jo (Steve Thurow) White of Garden Prairie, sons Joseph L. (Kyomi) Jr. of Okinawa, Edward M. of Las Vegas, Robert N. (Debbie) of Winnebago, and Michael O. (Julie) of Belvidere, 5 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, brothers Lowell Roscoe "Jack" (Joan) Overstreet, Jr., of Bensonville and William R. Overstreet of Woodstock. Predeceased by her parents and grandson Mike.
