Mary A. Webb, 81, of Poplar Grove, Illinois, died Monday, April 21, 2014 in her home following a sudden illness. Born July 7, 1932 in Keokuk, Iowa; the daughter of Henry and Katherine (Behrens) Shuster. She attended Carthage, IL High School. Mary married Wheaton H. Webb in Belvidere on February 12, 1956. She was very active in church activities at Poplar Grove United Methodist Church and former member of Women of the Moose. Mary is survived by 3 sons, Matthew Webb, Rockford; Bradley Webb, Athens, GA and Wally (Tammy) Webb, Poplar Grove; 3 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Katherine Markey and Beverly Rings. She is preceded in death by parents, husband and 2 brothers.

Celebration of Life 2:30 p.m. Saturday, April 26, 2014 in Poplar Grove United Methodist Church with the Rev. Danice Loveridge, officiating. Memorial visitation 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the church. Cremation will take place with inurnment in Poplar Grove Cemetery.
