Mary Louise (Rennie) Ekberg, 60, of Belvidere, IL passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 in Rockford, IL. Mary was born on August 30, 1962 in Belvidere, IL to James and Patricia Ann (Fagan) Rennie. Mary was a high school graduate and worked in the medical field doing billing and administrative work at St. Joe's Hospital and the Rockford Rescue Mission. Mary belonged to Holy Trinity Church with her family as a child growing up and was an AA member for many years. Mary loved animals especially cats, the outdoors, music, comedy and loved to travel and vacation in Delavan, Wisconsin.

Mary will be loved and missed by her sons, Nick (Amy) Ekberg and Dustin (Paige) Ekberg; sisters, Chris Rennie and Deb Crawford; granddaughter, Paityn Ekberg; nephew, Jeremiah (Tasha); and Kaitlynn, Amaya and Gia. Mary was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Mike Rennie; and nephew, Travis.
