Mary D. Parish, 79, of Belvidere, IL, formerly of Wonder Lake, passed away Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center after a short illness. Mary was born January 14, 1938 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of John and June (Gartley) Schueler, Sr. She married Harold Parish on June 28, 1980 in McHenry, IL. Mary worked as a waitress for most of her life. She was a member of New Beginnings Fellowship and formerly of Wonder Lake Fire Department Women's Auxillary, as well as the Women of the Moose in Woodstock. Mary enjoyed fill ins, number painting, and most of all she enjoyed life.

Mary is loved and missed by her husband, Harold; children, Debra (Greg) Novak, Richard Flint, Angela Booth and Ralph (Denise) Parish; 6 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren; brother, John (Karen) Schueler, and step-brother, Harold (Gloria) Gillespie; as well as 3 nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
