Mary L. Jacobs, 79, of Belvidere, passed away Tuesday afternoon, October 20, 2015 at Park Place in Belvidere, IL. Mary was born December 2, 1935, daughter of James and Phyllis Dain. She was employed as an administrative assistant. Mary was known to her grandchildren as "Gaegy. Mary had a huge heart for animals; she enjoyed feeding and taking care of animals around her neighborhood. She loved her family and grandchildren. She loved cooking, baking and barbequing.

Mary is loved and will be missed by her children, Debra (Robert) Gutkowski, Jeffrey (Barbara) Foster and Pamela Garcia; grandchildren, Lynn (Guy) Lynch, Christina (Ronald) Carrion, Thomas Foster, Robert Foster, Jennifer (Joseph) Wetter, Samantha Garcia; sister, Patricia Fitzgibbon. She is preceded in death by her parents, and sister, Jeannie Kitzman.

Memorial visitation will be held from 5:00-6:00 p.m., Friday, October 23, 2015 at Parkside Manor Community Room, 628 W. Lincoln Ave, Belvidere, IL. Memorial Service will follow at 6:00 p.m. with Rev. Allan Buss officiating. Memorials may be given to the family
