Mary A. Braun 74, of Belvidere, IL died Monday morning, August 20, 2007 in the OSF St. Anthony Medical Center after a short illness. Mary was born July 15, 1933 in Belvidere the daughter of Walter and Iva (Seyler) Love. Mary married Ernest Braun on June 10, 1961 in Belvidere; he predeceased her February 5, 1998. Mary was a homemaker and worked a few years in the housekeeping department for St. Joseph Hospital. Mary was a member of First United Methodist Church, Town and Country homemaker's group.Survivors include her brothers and sisters, Glen Love of Belvidere, Kenneth Love of Poplar Grove, Betty Rhodes of Florida, Robert (Evelyn) Love of California, Marjorie (Leonard) Bloese of Roscoe, Joan (Melvin) Small of Cherry Valley, Bernice (Bob) Tessman of Belvidere, Jack (Mary) Love of Florida, George "Bill" (Carol) Love of Beloit, Lynn (Ruth) Love of Machesney Park, Patricia (Paul) Tiernan of Wauconda, Jim (Ruth) Love of Florida; sisters in-law, Ruth Love of Belvidere and Geri Love of Rockford; numerous nieces and nephews. Mary is predeceased by her parents, husband, sister, Verna and brothers, Donald, Walter and John.The family acknowledges the tender love and care given by Lorraine Knutson, Mary's care giver.

A memorial will be established in her name.
