Mary Louise Blunt passed away peacefully, Tuesday, April 3, 2018. She was the only child of Peter and
Ellen (Johnson) McIntyre, born August 13, 1922 in Poplar Grove, IL. Mary was a compassionate and giving person, opening her home to friends and family in need, most recently, caring for a stray cat, Max.

She was a holiday decorator extraordinaire, with every inch of her home decorated for each holiday. Mary was a good cook and always managed to feed one more. She was a waitress and hostess at Casa Mia and Huddle restaurants. She loved those jobs and made special lifelong friends. Bingo, dominoes and going to the casinos were her favorite past times.

Mary was a loyal North Boone Viking fan, never missing her great grandson, Adrien's (#6) basketball, Jr. tackle football and baseball games. GO POWER!

She is survived and will be missed by her children, Carolyn (Jerry) Haley, Richard J. Blunt, Marilyn (Dr. Kent) Hess all of Belvidere and Deborah (Brett) Overton  of Aurora, IL; grandchildren, Kristen (Steve Verive) Haley, Mark (Heather Cordray) Haley, Ryan Smith (Mocha), Ashley Raabe, Julie Lindley, Ellen (Mark) Lawrence, Rick Blunt, Sara (Jerry) Bosse; and nine great grandchildren.
