Martha M. Marshallsay Dague, 90, of Belvidere, IL, passed away peacefully, Thursday morning, September 4, 2014 in her home.  Martha was born December 16, 1923 in Noble, Illinois the daughter of Max and Ruby (Anderson) Summers.  She married Roger Marshallsay on June 24, 1945 in Belvidere, IL, he preceded her in death in November of 1967.  Shen then married Bill Dague in 1985 in Rockton, he preceded her in death in April of 2010.  Martha attended the University of Illinois and owned Belvidere Construction Co. retiring in 1996.  She was a former member of Belvidere Junior Women's Club as well as a 50+ year member of Adeline Chapter #118 Order of the Eastern Star.

The family would like to acknowledge the compassionate care given by Northern Illinois Hospice, especially Debbie, Jennifer and Sarah; as well as the tender and loving care given by her care giver Na-Na.

Martha is loved and will be missed by her children, Richard (Roxanne) Marshallsay and Nancy (Gary) Ackerman, both of Roscoe, IL; Bill's children, David, Susan, Diane and their families;  sister in-law, Dorothy Salley and her children; nephew, Charles Summers of Rockford; best friend, Lisa Smith and the many special friends that helped Martha through the years.  Martha is preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Roger and Bill and brother, Bill Summers.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 10, 2014 in Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services at Buck-Wheeler-Hyland Chapel, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave., Belvidere, IL with Rev. Dan Schenck officiating.  Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. to service time Wednesday at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Belvidere Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials can be given in care of Northern Illinois Hospice, 4215 Newburg, Rd., Rockford, IL 61108 in Martha's memory.  To light a candle or ot share a memory, please visit www.AndersonFCS.com
