Mark David Priest, 52, of Capron, passed away, Sunday, July 9, 2017 at OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center. He was born July 21, 1964 in Chicago, IL, son of Douglas W. and Lela (Limberopoulos) Priest. He graduated from Lutheran North High School in Chicago. Mark married Lisa Lippe on December 1, 1983 in Belvidere, IL. He was a farmer and an entrepreneur, owning many businesses. Mark loved fishing, was a Chicago sports fan, and liked wrestling. He was a very generous man, helping anyone he could. Most of all, Mark loved his family.

Mark is loved and missed by his wife, Lisa; mother, Lela; children, Jason Priest, Wayde (Malwina) Priest, and Paige Priest; his furry companion, Fierce; numerous sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, cousins, nieces,  nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephew. He was preceded in death by his father, Douglas Wayne Priest.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 14, 2017 at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave, Belvidere, IL 61008. A visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, July 13, 2017 at the funeral home. Burial in Highland Garden of Memories in Belvidere.
