Mark A. Manning Mark A. Manning, 59, of Elgin died unexpectedly on Monday morning, January 26, 2009 at "the farm" in Belvidere after a lingering illness.Mark was born August 31, 1949 in Elgin the son of Harry N. and Jacqueline (Wagner) Manning. He graduated from Larkin High School in 1967 where he swam on the swim team. He served in the US Army in Vietnam. Mark married Lori Peters-Manning in Elgin on March 8, 1981. Mark's employment career in telecommunications started with Illinois Bell and continued until his retirement from MCI in 2003. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.Mark is survived by his wife, Lori; daughter Tiffany (Alex) Rednour of Belvidere; grandchildren, Anthony Anderson, Danya Isham, Bailey and Marc Rednour; brothers and sisters, Debbie Manning of So. Elgin, Kevin (Maureen) Manning of Schaumburg, Kent (Darlene) Manning of McAllen, TX, Tony (Donna) Manning of St. Louis, MO, Julie (Larry) Brabec of Elgin; brother in-law, Vance (Cheri) Peters of Cambridge, WI and several nieces and nephews.Mark is preceded in death by his parents; in-laws, Dan and Alice Peters and grandson, Raymond "Ray-Ray" Rednour.
