Belvidere, IllinoisMarjorie M. Michael, age 76 of Belvidere, Illinois died Saturday morning, May 14, 2005 in Maple Crest Nursing Home after a lingering illness. She was born November 28, 1928 in Belvidere, Illinois the daughter of Albert A. and Esther (Heuer) Nimtz. Marjorie married Robert B. Michael on September 18, 1952 in Belvidere. She formerly belonged to the Pomona Grange and the Ladies Aid Society of Poplar Grove United Methodist Church. Marjorie enjoyed playing bingo, fishing, gardening and an occasional bus trip to the gambling boat on the Mississippi. Marjorie was a member of Poplar Grove United Methodist Church. Survivors include her nieces, Ruth Ann (Arthur) Van Fleet, Carol (Gene) Edson; nephews, Dan Nimtz and Thomas Nimtz; sister in-law, Viola Nimtz.Marjorie is preceded in death by her parents,, husband, Robert, brother, Albert C. Nimtz, nephew, Roger Nimtz and niece, Diane Nimtz.
