Belvidere, IllinoisMarjorie P. Cushman, 75, of Belvidere, IL went to be with her Lord early Friday morning, April 9, 2010 in her home after a lingering illness. Marjorie was born November 3, 1934 in Belvidere the daughter of Lynn and Ruby (Dale) Porter. Prior to her retirement, she worked as an accountant. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church and was formerly active in the national and regional Presbyterian Church. Marjorie enjoyed spending time with her family and traveling. Marjorie was a former volunteer for Northern Illinois Hospice and her family would like to acknowledge the tender love and care that they provided her and the family in Marjorie's last months. Survivors include her children Wendy Morgan, Tobi (Kenneth) Johnson, Penny (Kevin) Lee, Ronald E. (Angie) Cushman all of Belvidere; sister Nancy Peters of Marengo; nine grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren and one on the way; and her dear friend Shirley Wooden. Marjorie is predeceased by her parents, brothers Dale and James Porter and her grandson Chad.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be given to Westminster Presbyterian Building Fund or Northern IL Hospice in Marjorie's memory.
