Marjorie (Gallano) Canode, 95, of Rockford, passed away peacefully March 22,2016 at Amberwood Care Center. Born September 27,1920 in Belvidere, IL, daughter of Frederick and Bertha Gallano. She was a member of the Eastern Star, Women of the Nile and part of the Ladies Auxiliary for the VFW.

Marjorie is loved and will be missed by her son, Ron (Mary Salzer) Canode; sister-in-law Phyllis Gallano, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents.
