Marion I. Janssen, 85, of Rockford, formerly from Chicago, died Tuesday, March 10, 2009 in Wesley Willows Health Care Center following complications from a stroke. She was born July 31, 1923 in Chicago; the daughter of Fred and Irene (Rock) Janssen. She was employed as a bookkeeper for a Trade Association. Marion is a graduate of Morgan Park High School. She is survived by a sister, Fern Wilson; and numerous nieces and nephews. Marion is preceded in death by parents, a brother, William and a sister, Eleanor Yedinak and a niece. The family wishes to thank the staff of Wesley Willows and Comfort Keepers for their loving care.
