Belvidere, ILMarion E. Crocker, 94, of Belvidere, IL died peacefully, Sunday morning, January 6, 2013 in Northwoods Care Center after a lengthy illness. Marion was born June 29, 1918 in Belvidere, the daughter of Albert R. and Matilda A. (Kaiser) Grow. She married Morris Crocker on December 30, 1961 in Belvidere, he predeceased her in 1982. Marion worked for and retired from Bennett's Industry. Marion loved to dance and enjoyed helping people, she was a true servant. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church. Marion is survived by her step-daughter, Rosemarie Carmichael of Kankakee; niece Thelma Jean of Belvidere; chosen family Leslie Fildes, Dale Fildes, Pattie Kargol of Lacon, IL, Cherise Sherwin of Sarasota, FL; numerous step-grandchildren. Marion is also predeceased by her parents, husband and brother Thomas Grow.
